According to new reports, sources say that the flagship sedan (not the XTS) has officially received the greenlight for production and should hit roads sometime between 2015 and 2017. The flagship Cadillac sedan will be built on a new rear-wheel-drive architecture, internally known as the Omega platform. The platform is expected to be a spin-off of the Zeta architecture.No word on what engine lineup the car will get but expect a V6 and a small block V8. A hybrid model is also a possibility.
